Expo 2009 One of the Best Yet!

Roxanne Emmerich, author of Thank God It's Monday, was the keynote speaker for the 2009 Expo at the Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa in Groton, CT. She kicked off the two days of education and networking with a high intensity presentation focused on "creating a workplace that you and your customers love". The participants in the program were charged up after leaving Ms. Emmerich's presentation. We heard "I've never been in a CE like that in my life" and "It was amazing".

Pharmacy owners, their staff and some families joined NPSC to spend two days in programs focused on marketing and finance. This year we also offered a special program of staff training. Forty-four vendors joined in the festivities talking with customers and potential customers about their products and services. All enjoyed delicious food in an upbeat and festive atmosphere. NPSC's final CE program was one of the best ever according to the attendees. Thomas Cory of Standard Pharmacy in Fall River, MA shared many of his wonderful promotional ideas. These ideas put smiles on his customer's faces and bring new customers in all the time. He spends 1% of his store's sales on promotion. Attendees said "Tom is a natural presenter....he loves what he is doing".. "He gives us inspiration". "He showed how owning a pharmacy can be fun".
